For gloves, distinguish a listed glove weight from a hand-size measurement. A weight option does not, by itself, describe every aspect of the internal fit. Read the product’s intended use, available options and fitting instructions, and check the weight requirements set by your coach or event.
For headgear and shin guards, begin with the measurement points in the manufacturer’s chart. Review the stated coverage, shape and closure system as well as the size range. Adjustment features are not a substitute for selecting an appropriate size.
For wraps and accessories, compare actual dimensions and package contents. Length, stretch and fastening details may affect the way an item is used. Ask your coach to confirm application when that is part of the preparation; an online image cannot verify the finished fit.
For bags, pads and larger training equipment, “fit” also means the fit with your space and session. Review dimensions, handling, mounting and included parts. Consider the holder’s setup for pads and the manufacturer’s installation requirements for fixed equipment.
If information is missing, save the product name and the exact variant you are considering, then ask a focused question. Include the measurement or compatibility point you need explained. You do not need to share private medical information to ask about a published size chart.
The HOODLUM product collection is being prepared. Each listed item will need its own confirmed sizing and specification details; this general guide does not invent a universal chart or guarantee fit. Use it to organize the questions that help you choose confidently.
